Previously worked Brookes Chemical Co., Halifax
Entered collection Purchased by an MRT member from the Peak Railway Society in 1981, and then by the MRT in 2013 with support from the Heritage Lottery Fund
Current status Operational. Details of its recent restoration are given in the pages Overhaul of "Brookes No. 1"

Summer Wednesday Trains

From 31st July until 28th August 2019 we will be running a Diesel Service on Wednesdays from 11:00 until 15:20. Anyone under the age of 3 travels for free, and the special child fare is just £1.00: normal adult fares apply.
